Tigh He-He Comedy Club with Patrick McDonnell
Thu 1st June, 2023 Doors: 8:00pm
@ Róisín Dubh
Support: Ian Burke
Tigh He-He: Thursday night comedy with different comedians each week. Upstairs in Róisín Dubh. Gáire! Suas an Staighre.
This week’s special guest is Patrick McDonnell
Best known for his role as Eoin McLove on Father Ted, Pat has also delighted Irish viewers on Moone Boy, Stew, Naked Camera and the Savage Eye. More than that, Pat is one of Ireland’s most accomplished and respected comedians. He’s been touring comedy clubs at home and abroad for years earning international acclaim for ripping rooms apart wherever he goes.
A favourite at Róisín Dubh, Patrick’s vacant stare and guileless manner will have you laughing before he opens his mouth.
“…an impressive and persuasively tub-thumping performance” - Chortle
With support from Ian Burke
Since bursting onto the comedy scene a little over a year and a pandemic ago, Ian Burke has quickly established himself as an act to watch by winning Show Me The Funny 2022 and Cork Comedian of the Year 2020 (and bringing the title home to his native Galway). Ian also reached the final of Dublin’s Next Top Comic, and Bray Comedy Festival’s Best New Act competition. Throughout 2022 Ian graced the stages of All Together Now, Electric Picnic and Galway Comedy Festival as well as many of the country’s top comedy clubs.
And this week’s host Cormac Moore
Cormac Moore is an Irish stand up comedian and award winning radio broadcaster, who has presented his own shows on some of the biggest Irish stations including iRadio, SPIN1038 and FM104.
