A brand new series of shows featuring the best of Irish stand up comedy, over eight Thursday nights in May & June. Gáire, suas an staighre in Róisín Dubh. Commencing on Thursday May 12th and running until Thursday June 30th,
The shows will feature some of the finest stand up comedians on our little island, including Micky Bartlett, Sean Hegarty, John Colleary, Karl Spain, Enya Martin, Emma Doran, Andrew Ryan and Eric Lalor. Each night will also feature some of the country’s rising stars and a different host each week.

Apart from being one of the most in-demand comics in the land, John Colleary has also co written and starred in IFTA nominated shows, The Savage Eye (RTÉ2) and Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ One). Other TV credits include appearances on Stand & Deliver (Live from Róisín Dubh) & The Panel (RTÉ2). A talented actor and mimic, John recently featured as one third of The Gusset Brothers on The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One).
He has also scooped a PPI award for his topical sketch writing and performance on Today FM’s drivetime flagship, The Last Word; and is a regular at Ireland’s top festivals.

Stephen Ryan is a previous winner of the Forbidden Fruit Comedy Competition, a finalist in the 2016 Irish Comedian of the Year competition and a two-time finalist in the prestigious Chortle Student Comedy Competition. This Limerick comedian has performed at numerous festivals throughout Ireland and the UK including Edinburgh, Latitude, Forbidden Fruit, TedFest and Vodafone Comedy Carnival and is a regular headliner on the Irish comedy circuit.

A newcomer to the Irish comedy circuit, Elinor Murphy has quickly made waves, performing in many top clubs, winning the "Best New Act 2022" award, and billed by Bray Comedy Festival as a "rising star" and "absolutely one to watch".

Despite making a later in life arrival to comedy than most, Paul Marsh has made up for his late start by making a massive impact on the Irish comedy scene. Paul wasted no time and rapidly racked up winner's trophies in some of Ireland's premier new comedy competitions, winning both the Tedfest Toilet Duck Award 2015 and the Capital Comedy Club Competition in Dublin.
Paul has since performed regularly at all the Irish comedy clubs for over 6 years as well as being a Kilkenny Cats Laughs and Galway Comedy Festival regular. Paul is now one of the most in-demand acts in Ireland and the UK.
