A brand new series of shows featuring the best of Irish stand up comedy, over eight Thursday nights in May & June. Gáire, suas an staighre in Róisín Dubh. Commencing on Thursday May 12th and running until Thursday June 30th,
The shows will feature some of the finest stand up comedians on our little island, including Micky Bartlett, Sean Hegarty, John Colleary, Karl Spain, Enya Martin, Emma Doran, Andrew Ryan and Eric Lalor. Each night will also feature some of the country’s rising stars and a different host each week.

One-liner comedian Sean Hegarty has been seen wowing the judges on Ireland's Got Talent, getting four yeses from the judges and making it to the live semi final shows. He has supported Patrick Kielty on his Irish tour, came runner-up in the UK Pun Championships, written for BBC Radio & TV including panel show Monumental and online series Tight Shorts as well as having gigged all over the world in places such as France, Cyprus, Belgium and the Edinburgh Fringe.
AS well as being one of the country’s most in-demand comedians, Patser is also an established actor appearing in television on 'Love/Hate', Primeval, 'Can't Cope Won't Cope' and movies such as "You're Ugly Too" and “Intermission”.
Brennan is a multi award winning working class wordsmith (Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee and English Comedian Of The Year Winner) . A stand-up, a storyteller and self confessed mummy’s boy. His boyish cheeks recently cropped up on Survival Of The Fittest (ITV), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) Live At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and racking up over 6 million YouTube hits for his stint on Top Gear (BBC).
Throughout the past four years doing stand-up comedy, Jess has gone from seeing her favourite Irish comics to sharing the stage with them. She has already achieved a number of her comedy goals, one of which was to feature in the line-up at Electric Picnic in 2019 and Galway Comedy Festival in 2021, not to mention being a finalist at the Show Me the Funny competition back in early 2020.
