Telebox are a young Galway based four piece featuring Joe Kelly and Conall Ó Floinn on guitar, Stevie Healy on drums and Eoin Killeen on bass. Joe is also the band’s lead vocalist backed by Stevie and Conall.
With a guitar pairing that works in a perfect unison, creating a vibrant sound and a rhythm section that will have you dancing along, Telebox always give a live energetic performance that makes them a “must see” act on the youth music scene.
Hard work and a strong bond is what keeps these lads running, keep your eyes and ears open for Telebox.
Over a year in the making, the group's newest single “Platonic Plague”, produced by Stevie Healy, is an anthem of post breakup friendship. Through a strange wash of images, the song’s lyrics convey the idea that staying friends after a breakup will result in only pain, especially if there was true love involved.
“Tension and release” is a key element to their sound, according to lead singer Joe Kelly. The driving guitar sounds echo the frustrations of revenge, betrayals and the struggle of moving on. The single is available on all major streaming platforms from 12th of May 2022.
Supporting their new release, Telebox will play an all ages show in Roisin Dubh on Sat 14 May at 2pm.
