Something To Tour About: 25 Years of Badly Drawn Boy
Mercury Music winning artist Badly Drawn Boy aka Damon Gough has announced a Galway show as part of his “25 Years of Badly Drawn Boy” series of gigs. The show will feature a career-spanning set of hits and fan favourites as well as being one of his first Irish shows in 5 years.
Gough says about his upcoming shows “These shows coincide with my 25th anniversary as A recording artist so I’ll be paying songs from across my career, including favourites and some rarities and deep cuts. I’d like to think this is the show I’d like to see if I was a longtime fan. I’m very much looking forward to it and hope to see you there.”
With such a beautiful and eclectic discography it’s hard to predict exactly what he’ll play. From his Mercury Prize winning debut The Hour of Bewilderbeast to the enthralling soundtrack About a Boy, the epic Born in the UK to his most recent critically acclaimed Banana Skin Shoes from 2020 there’s a huge catalogue to choose from.
